Job summary

Tenpin is seeking a Customer Service Assistant in Exeter to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will manage reception bookings, handle enquiries, and promote sales while hosting events across our entertainment venues.

The role requires a friendly, proactive approach, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a dynamic team in a fun environment.

Qualifications

• Must be determined, enthusiastic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a can-do attitude.
• Fully flexible, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception bookings and enquiries to ensure a smooth flow of customers.
• Identify sales opportunities and promote Tenpin offerings.
• Host events and monitor activities across venues (Laser Arena, Escape Rooms, karaoke).
• Serve drinks at the bar and prepare simple food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across work areas.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll provide an excellent customer experience by managing reception bookings, addressing enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, hosting events, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing food and drinks.

You’ll work across various departments, from running the Laser Arena and hosting Escape Room experiences to managing karaoke rooms and serving drinks at the bar. Every day will bring something new, keeping the fun flowing!

You should be efficient, proactive, friendly, and confident in customer interactions, with exceptional service as your priority.
