Job summary

STEF Langdons in Liverpool is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to be the first point of contact for customer enquiries and to support the smooth movement of goods across our UK network. You will work with the team to allocate jobs to depots and resolve stock discrepancies, while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires strong communication, IT and organisational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and willingness to use your initiative.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries and providing updates on deliveries and collections
• Booking customer jobs onto company systems and allocating them to the relevant depots
• Working closely with warehouse teams and customers to resolve stock discrepancies
• Raising and following up on any delivery or booking disputes
• Assisting with customer quotations when required
• Providing support and cover for the Transport Team when needed
• Building positive relationships with customers and delivering a consistently high standard of service
