Job summary

Langdons is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Liverpool for a full-time, permanent role. You will help receive, store and dispatch goods, ensuring safety and accuracy while supporting a busy supply chain across the UK. The post offers a stable career path with benefits.

The role requires warehouse experience, a current MHE licence, good IT skills and the ability to meet targets as part of a team. Monday–Friday days, with site-specific perks included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Up-to-date licence for designated mechanical handling equipment.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse, food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Good communication, organisation and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to meet targets and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handling and securing stock in line with food safety requirements.

Location: Liverpool | Full-time, Permanent | Salary: 28,198.38 + Benefits

What We Do

STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll help ensure customer goods are received, handled, stored and dispatched safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Receiving and checking incoming loads, including packaging and labelling.
• Handling and securing stock in line with food safety requirements.
• Operating designated mechanical handling equipment safely.
• Preparing loads for dispatch and loading vehicles.
