Mole Valley Farmers Wickham is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to join our Retail team and help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll support stock availability, merchandising and customer advice in a fast-paced environment.

Contract: Permanent, Hours: Part-time (8 hours per week, Saturday 08:30-17:30). Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour. Application deadline: 1 October 2026. Training provided; benefits include pension, staff discounts, and career progression.

About The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused

Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge

Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions

Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs

Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy

Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented

Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures

Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance

About You

No previous experience required, full training will be provided

Strong retail disciplines and a passion for customer service

Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
