Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Wickham is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to join our Retail team on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll help deliver an exceptional shopping experience, assist with stock management, and provide knowledgeable advice to customers in a fast-paced store environment.

Hours are 8 per week with a Saturday shift, and you’ll benefit from comprehensive training, a competitive hourly rate, and access to our employee benefits as part of a supportive team

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused
• Support the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge
• Take ownership of a designated department and drive sales through merchandising and promotions
• Review stock levels and adjust seasonally to meet customer needs
• Process goods inwards and maintain stock file accuracy
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures
• Work in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 8 Hours per week, working a Saturday 08:30-17:30

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.

Key responsibilities include:

• No previous experience required, full training will be provided

• Confident, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
