Job summary

Morgan McKinley (Crawley) is seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive for an office-based role near Partridge Green, Horsham. You will be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries and handle orders from start to finish.

This role requires strong organisational skills, good IT literacy, and a proven background in customer service or sales support within manufacturing, construction or engineering sectors. Hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• Proven experience in a customer service–sales support role.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with standard business systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all incoming customer enquiries.
• Process customer information and qualify the call / order, what the customer is looking for, etc.
• Keep customers updated on what will happen next with their enquiry / order.
• Update the systems with the enquiry / order information.
• Maintain strong customer service and respond to calls in a timely manner.

Morgan McKinley is working with a great growing company based on the outskirts of Horsham in the Partridge Green, West Sussex area who is looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive to provide excellent customer service at all times and be the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries.

Salary: £28-32K

Location: Office based - Partridge Green. Own transport required due to location

Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Fri

Customer Service Exec duties:

• Act as the first point of contact for all incoming customer enquiries
• Process customer information and qualify the call / order, what the customer is looking for etc.
• Keep customers updated on what will happen next with their enquiry / order
• Update the systems with the enquiry / order information
• Maintain strong customer service and answer calls in a timely manner

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience working in a similar customer service - sales support type role ideally within the manufacturing, construction, or engineering sector
• Highly organised and attention to detail
• Good IT skills
