Job summary

The Growth Company is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant Apprentice in Tamworth. This telephone-based role centers on delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting client relationships.

You will engage with clients via phone, email and in person, contribute to sales opportunities, and participate in the structured apprenticeship programme with off-the-job training.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English grade A*-C/9-4 required.
• Willing to participate in the apprenticeship programme with off-the-job training.
• Friendly, reliable with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make and take regular phone calls to existing clients to maintain and develop strong working relationships.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new business from existing clients during calls.
• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the resolution of customer queries and complaints, escalating where necessary.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all client conversations and outcomes on internal systems.
• Work closely with the sales team to follow up on new business leads generated from client calls.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues to support a positive, consistent customer experience.
• Take part in all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including off-the-job training and coursework.
