Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is seeking a Customer Service Agent to ensure vehicles are available and bookings are fulfilled with a high level of service. You will handle customer needs, perform account administration and coordinate vehicle movements within the branch.

No industry experience is required as induction training is provided; a Full UK or EU Driving Licence is required to operate across branches.

Qualifications

• Customer service know-how and administration skills are essential.
• Calm, ‘can-do’ attitude is required to manage multiple tasks.
• Full UK or EU Driving Licence is desirable for operating branches.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer, colleague and manager needs to ensure vehicles are where they need to be.
• Source vehicles to enable bookings and resolve rental queries.
• Administer customer accounts and oversee daily vehicle movements in branch.

Salary: £30.143.00 + Bonus

Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours / week, plus Saturdays on a rota

As a Customer Service Agent, you expertly bring to life the Northgate experience, managing the needs of customers, colleagues and managers to ensure our vehicles are where we need them to be, when we need them to be there.

Life as a Customer Service Agent with Northgate Vehicle Hire

Our branches are busy, fast-paced places to be and, as a Customer Service Agent, you will be right at the very centre of it. You’re often the first point of contact for customers; so confidently delivering a great service with a smile is second nature. Where you really excel is in managing more than one task at a time - from sourcing vehicles so you can say yes to booking, resolving a customer rental query, administration of a customer account or overseeing the daily vehicle movements in and out of branch.

You don’t need any previous industry or vehicle rental administration experience to join our team (our proven induction training will take care of that) but you’ll need all of your customer service know-how, administration skill and most importantly your calm, ‘can-do’ attitude (along with a Full UK or EU Driving Licence, of course!) to get things done.
