Job summary

Red Recruitment is recruiting enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our client in TQ10 9GQ as a Customer Service Advisor. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries by phone and email, processing orders, resolving queries and delivering an excellent customer experience across a range of well-known client accounts.

Due to the location of this role, you must be able to reliably commute to TQ10 9GQ / South Brent.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
• Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
• Quality and service-focused attitude.
• Previous customer service or contact centre experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Process orders, enquiries and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
• Take inbound calls in a friendly, professional and informative manner.
• Make outbound calls to businesses and consumers when required.
• Assist customers with product information, order queries and returns processes.
• Escalate complex issues to the senior customer service team when appropriate.
• Accurately update customer records and maintain the company database.
• Complete a range of administrative tasks to support the customer service function.
• Manage customer accounts from quotation through to payment follow-up.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting a variety of client accounts.
