The Vacancy

Have you got experience in a Contact Centre environment? Join Platform, a dynamic social housing business that offers an inclusive, supportive environment with excellent benefits and family-friendly policies. We provide extensive training and development, including Customer Service accreditation.

This role is the first point of contact for our customers, involving problem-solving conversations, answering inquiries, and resolving issues at first contact where possible, working to set KPIs. You will play a key role in delivering customer service excellence across the company.

We offer various full-time and part-time roles on permanent and fixed-term contracts. Full-time roles operate between 8am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work is not required.

What we are looking for:

Candidates from customer-focused environments, preferably with telephony or contact centre experience, are ideal. You should be committed to resolving queries professionally and efficiently on first contact.

Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact with diverse individuals empathetically and effectively, especially in difficult conversations.

You must be IT literate, able to use multiple systems, and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

During induction, you will work from our offices in Worcester or Birmingham for training and may occasionally travel to the office as needed.
