Job Description:

We are pleased to partner with our successful, professional, and friendly client to recruit a full-time Customer Service Advisor for their office in Haywards Heath. This office-based role offers an excellent opportunity within a reputable insurance/financial services company.

Role: Customer Service Advisor

Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (37.5 hours/week, including 30-minute lunch)

Location: Modern offices in Haywards Heath, 10-minute walk from the station, with parking available on-site and nearby free street parking.

Salary and Benefits: £25,000 - £28,000 per year, with comprehensive company benefits including an excellent pension scheme, employee benefits scheme, social events, and a staff Christmas party.

The Role - Customer Service Advisor

This role involves a mix of phone-based customer service and administrative work in a busy, friendly office within an expanding organization.

Responsibilities include:
  • Answering and resolving customer queries via phone and email, taking ownership of each task.
  • General policy administration.
  • Proactively following up on customer enquiries and converting them into policies where possible.
  • Exceeding customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Producing high-quality documents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Gaining strong knowledge of company products.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Participating in regular learning and development activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a telephone-based or customer-facing/support role.
  • Good education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Passion for customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills with high accuracy.
  • Good IT skills and eagerness to learn new systems.
