Job summary

Confidential is seeking a customer service focused professional for an office-based role at our Bescot Headquarters. You will handle calls from existing and prospective customers, discuss a range of service options, and book appointments. The position runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with one in-three Saturdays, 9am-5:30pm on Saturdays.

The role is based in Walsall. Working in a busy service team, you will use multiple systems, maintain accuracy, and deliver excellent customer service

£12.71 per hour plus uncapped bonus

40 Hours per week

Monday to Friday (flexible between 8am-6pm) plus every third Saturday, 9am-5.30pm

What you ll be doing

• Working in the Service, Maintenance and Repair Team


• Handling calls from existing and prospective customers


• Discussing RAC's range of Service, Maintenance and Repair services, discussing the most appropriate options for the customer's needs


• Booking and scheduling appointments once services have been agreed

What we re looking for

• Experience in delivering stand-out customer service under pressure (contact centre experience is helpful, but not essential)


• The ability to build trust quickly and communicate with confidence and clarity, especially in challenging situations


• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement under pressure


• Confidence using multiple systems and handling information accurately


• A proactive mindset - you take ownership and see things through
