Job summary

AutoSkills is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor in Nottingham to provide professional service throughout the vehicle repair process. You will be the main point of contact for customers, keeping them informed and ensuring a high standard of care.

The role offers a Monday to Friday pattern (08:30-17:00) with a salary up to £34,000 depending on experience and a supportive team environment aimed at developing your skills and building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Automotive or bodyshop experience advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident dealing with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for customers throughout the repair process.
• Provide regular updates regarding vehicle progress, repair timescales and collection arrangements.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues or concerns efficiently.
• Liaise closely with Workshop Controllers, Technicians, Estimators and other members of the bodyshop team.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records throughout the repair process.
• Coordinate customer bookings, vehicle collections and deliveries where required.
• Ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience at every stage.
• Follow company procedures, customer service standards and Health & Safety requirements.

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor who takes pride in delivering a professional service and building positive relationships with customers.

• Proven experience in a Customer Service Advisor, Customer Service Executive or similar customer-facing role
• Previous experience within the automotive, accident repair, bodyshop or motor trade environment advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident dealing with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and priorities effectively
• Professional, approachable and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
• Good IT and administration skills
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
