Customer Service Advisor

Remote | Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Temporary Role

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with our client to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy Vaccination Services team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to provide first‑class administrative and customer service support within a healthcare setting. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling a high volume of calls and emails, providing accurate information, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer journey from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails via Zendesk.
  • Support customers with enquiries, product information, and account management.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks during busy periods.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle and escape complaints professionally when required.
  • Collaborate with your line manager and the wider customer service team.
About You

You’ll bring strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing excellent service.

Essential skills and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in B2B client support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
Desirable
  • Minimum of 3 A-levels (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role.
  • Background or interest in healthcare.
