Job summary

BH Live is seeking a part-time Customer Operations Manager for BH Live Active at Queens Park, Bournemouth. You will oversee daily operations, ensure a great customer experience, and keep visitors safe while the centre is open and running on a rota schedule.

The role requires coordinating staffing, handling emergencies, and ensuring building security. Previous similar experience is desirable and hours align with centre opening times, including evenings and weekends.

• You will have day-to-day responsibility for the operations of our centre.
• A customer focussed approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reactive shift cover and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Coordinate safe evacuation of the public and colleagues in emergencies.
• Open and close the building.
• Carry out visual building inspections and report issues to the technical team.
• Oversee security of the building and respond to calls when on/off duty.

Sites: BH Live Active - Queens Park

Geographical Location: Bournemouth

Hours: 21 hours per week on a rota basis

Actual Salary: £18,603.73 per annum

FTE Salary: £32,778 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

The role:

BH Live is recruiting for a part time Customer Operations Manager to join our team at BH Live Active, Queens Park.

Our Customer Operations Managers ensure everyone visiting our centre has a great customer experience, has fun and is kept safe.

You will have day-to-day responsibility for the operations of our centre.

You will:

• Ensure each department has the appropriate level of staffing and be responsible for the coordination of reactive shift cover.
• Be responsible for and coordinate the safe evacuation of members of the public and colleagues in the event of an emergency.
• Open and close the building.
• Carry out visual building inspections of the building and report any issues to our technical team.
• Be responsible for the security of the building whilst on duty and respond to emergency calls when off duty.

To be successful you will need:

• Confidence.
• Good organisation skills, with good attention to detail.
• Great people skills, be proactive with great communication skills.
• A customer focussed approach.
• Commercial acumen.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

Hours of work will be aligned with the centre’s opening hours and will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, it is expected you will work on a rota basis to meet operational needs.
