Job summary

BH Live is recruiting a part-time Recreation Assistant to join our Recreation team at Corfe Mullen, offering access to high-quality fitness facilities including a cardio zone, free weights, functional fitness, group cycle studio, swimming pool and spa.

You will work poolside as the main point of contact for customers, ensure safety and compliance with centre rules, assist with equipment setup and maintenance, keep the centre clean, and supervise users to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NPLQ qualification.
• Great customer service skills, initiative and be able to remain calm under pressure.

FTE Salary: £24,522 per annum

Actual salary: £19,882.71 per annum, based on working 30 hours per week

Hours: 30 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

The role:

BH Live is recruiting for a part time Recreation Assistant to join our Recreation team at Corfe Mullen, which offers access to high-quality fitness facilities including a cardio zone, free weights, functional fitness, group cycle studio, swimming pool and spa.

You must hold a valid NPLQ qualification

You will:

• Work poolside and be the main point of contract for our customers.
• Ensure our customers are kept safe and comply with our leisure centre rules.
• Erect, dismantle and move equipment.
• Clean the centre and equipment.
• Be vigilant and supervise people who are using the pool and leisure centre facilities.

To be successful you will need:

• Your NPLQ qualification.
• Great customer service skills, initiative and be able to remain calm under pressure.

Due to the nature of our business you must be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays aligned to the centres opening hours.
