Job summary

Tesco Customer Delivery Drivers are the face of Tesco on the road, delivering groceries to customers’ homes with a smile and great service. The role is hands-on, physical and varied, with routines that change daily and a supportive team back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some locations offering additional payments and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and ready to deliver great service.
• Explain order changes, substitutions, or short-dated items to customers, offering refunds where needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care, treating every order as if it were your own to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and leaving customers feeling valued.
