Job summary

Tesco Customer Delivery Drivers are the face of Tesco on the road, delivering great service with a smile. This role is hands-on, physical, and varied, with shifts independently managed and supported by the base team when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12-hour roles. Flexible working conversations are welcome during application.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep.
• Load the van safely and keep the vehicle clean, tidy and organised so every order is delivered in perfect condition.
• Talk customers through order changes, substitutions or short-dated items in a friendly, reassuring way and process refunds if needed to keep the experience smooth.
