Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and in customers' homes. The role is hands-on, physical, and varied, often requiring independent work with support from managers and a base team.

Pay starts at £14.18/hour, rising to £15.45/hour in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week. As part of Tesco’s delivery network, you will ensure orders arrive in perfect condition, communicate changes to customers, and uphold service standards

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep van and work area clean and organised to ensure correct delivery of orders.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds as needed to maintain a smooth experience.
• Handle products with care to protect quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the promised time slot with warm, on‑the‑door service.
