Job summary

Barfoots of Botley is seeking a Customer Technical Account Manager to join our busy team. You will liaise with Technical and Commercial managers, supporting customers and driving quality improvements across supply base, factory, and farm.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to travel within the UK. Prior experience in Quality or Technical Management, and FMCG exposure, are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to engage stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Quality or Technical Management (or similar).
• FMCG or Food/Produce experience desirable.
• Familiar with retailer codes of practice and systems desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to travel within the UK and drive a UK licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Support to Customer contacts (Technical and Commercial Managers).
• On-board new suppliers to customer systems.
• Communicate and implement strategy plans internally.
• Develop quality improvement plans with the supply base, factory, farm and customer.
• Manage customer performance data and drive continuous improvement prioritisation.
• Coordinate across the business to meet customer requirements.
