Job summary

Hunter in Southend is seeking a Customer Service and Operations Executive to join its team. You will act as the link between customers, factories, warehouses and the sales team to keep orders moving from confirmation to delivery.

The role requires organisation, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with experience of working with major retailers being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience is required for the role.
• Experience working with major retailers is advantageous.
• Self-motivated and able to manage own workload.
• Strong IT skills with common MS Office tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and communication skills are essential.
• Proactive work ethic and willingness to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Send order confirmations and resolve order queries with customers.
• Upload and maintain styles and sales orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouses to ensure timely shipments.
• Provide barcodes and packing instructions to factories and suppliers.
• Process stock, allocate orders, and raise picking tickets and invoices.
• Distribute weekly order books and chase bookings from customers.
• Report on sales activity and address queries from credit control and finance.
• Support sales and operations teams with ad-hoc tasks and cover sickness leave.
