Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a Sales Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers, helping them feel welcome and understood as they choose glasses, frames, lenses and hearing care products.

You will deliver friendly, expert service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, greeting customers warmly, offering clear advice, and processing sales and bookings using in-branch systems. A supportive team and ongoing training accompany this role.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone with a friendly, approachable attitude and strong communication skills.
• While customer service or retail experience is preferred, it is not essential.
• The ideal candidate will be able to work both as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism
• Assist customers in selecting optical and hearing products
• Provide clear, helpful advice on frame styles, lenses, and hearing care
• Process sales and bookings using in-branch systems
• Support stock management and merchandising
• Keep the store clean, welcoming, and well presented
• Work closely with Optometrists, Hearing Aid Audiologists and the wider branch team to ensure a seamless customer journey
