Job summary

VWFS is offering an undergraduate Customer Experience placement in Milton Keynes. You will contribute across the customer journey, developing skills in digital content, customer insight, project delivery, collaboration and communication.

This 12-13 month FTC starts with a June/July start and requires studying for a degree with a placement year. The role involves improving customer experience through systems, content and chat bot updates, with hybrid work of 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with excellent literacy and written communication.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
• A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team
• Able to manage multiple projects to deadlines, with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support new systems and processes that improve customer experience, including digital portal content and telephone journeys.
• Monitor and maintain the customer chatbot, making regular updates to improve its effectiveness.
• Coordinate quarterly updates to the retailer-facing renewals platform and gather customer feedback into actionable themes.
• Present research and insight to support business initiatives and report the success of customer experience activities.

About The Role

Salary: £23,915.49

Contract: 12-13months FTC Start dates are usually in June/July

Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

We’re looking for two undergraduates to join our Customer & Product Transformation department as a Customer Experience Undergraduate. You will contribute across the customer journey and develop invaluable skills in digital content, customer insight, project delivery, collaboration, and communication. What our recruitment process looks like:

• You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
• If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
• If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
