Job summary

Witan Search is assisting a client in Birmingham to recruit a Customer Service Specialist who will be the first point of contact for inquiries, handling orders and providing clear, friendly support. You will work with Sales Engineers and Account Managers, help onboard customers, prepare quotations, manage orders through to invoicing, and maintain accurate records in our CRM and ERP systems.

The successful candidate is a confident communicator, highly organized, calm under pressure and enjoys

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and client support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with accurate administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries with clear, friendly responses.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships.
• Support onboarding and encourage use of digital tools and e-commerce platforms.
• Prepare quotations with field sales teams and suppliers.
• Manage the full order lifecycle from creation to invoicing, including returns and credits.
• Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and ERP systems.
