Sainsbury's in-store team is seeking a Customer Assistant to help run our stores smoothly and warmly. You’ll be on the shop floor, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and supporting colleagues in a busy retail environment.

You’ll learn about products and promotions, provide friendly, helpful service, and use digital tools to enhance the customer experience. A team-focused, proactive approach is valued across shifts and locations.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
