Job summary

We are Sainsbury's, seeking a Customer Assistant to help put customers first with friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced store environment. You’ll assist across tasks from stocking shelves to serving customers, using digital tools to enhance the experience and ensure shelves are tidy and well-presented.

You’ll build product knowledge, promote promotions, and delight customers with proactive, helpful recommendations as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service.
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products.
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience.
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location.
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers.
