Customer Development Executive – Britvic

Location – South East London & Surrounding areas (Ideal postcode SE19)

Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours per week

Salary £31,500 basic + 20% Bonus

In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Britvic's market share in the soft drinks category within your territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of a fantastic portfolio, including Pepsi Max, 7Up, Lipton, Tango, Robinson’s, Rockstar, Carlsberg, 1664, Poretti Beer, and Jimmy's, by maximizing brand availability and visibility in Symbol and Independent stores.

Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in Convenience, Business Development, or FMCG preferable
  • Field-based role requires a manual driving licence
What You’ll Do

Working with a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for making face-to-face contact with existing retailers, establishing and retaining new business opportunities, and delivering a business plan for your territory focused on maximising sales opportunities.

  • Partner with our customers by building outstanding relationships, understanding retailer needs, and executing solutions.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business development approach to grow sales and market share.
  • Deliver on key selling metrics and support your colleagues to achieve execution excellence and customer management.
  • Adopt a full category-based selling approach to develop every outlet for mutual benefit.
  • Use data and evidence-based successes to drive best practices across your territory and team.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach to overcome challenges and win over stores.
About You
  • You are fun, passionate, driven, and target-oriented, capable of bringing brands to life.
  • Your entrepreneurial style makes you thrive as the key contact for customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable relationships.
  • You are eager to succeed in convenience retail, advocating our brands and focusing on consumers.
  • Previous experience in Direct Sales, Convenience, or FMCG is preferred.
  • You possess strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good administrative, organisational, and planning skills.
  • You are self-motivated, IT and social media literate.
  • Resilient, energetic, and proactive in pace.
  • Able to participate proactively as part of a team.
  • Must have a full valid manual driving licence, be eligible to work in the UK, and live within a 60-minute commute of the role location.
