Overview

Customer Development Executive – Britvic

Location – South East London & Surrounding areas (Ideal postcode SE19)

Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours per week

Salary £31,500 basic + 20% Bonus

As a Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Britvic’s market share in the soft drinks category within your territory. Working with a successful team, you will drive sales of products including Pepsi Max, 7Up, Lipton, Tango, Robinson’s, Rockstar, Carlsberg, 1664, Poretti Beer, and Jimmy's by maximizing brand availability and visibility in Symbol and Independent stores.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Convenience, Business Development, or FMCG preferable
  • Field-based role requires a manual driving licence

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a Regional Sales Manager to make face-to-face contact with existing retailers, establish new business opportunities, and develop a business plan for your territory focused on maximizing sales.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and executing tailored solutions.
  • Create and execute a business development approach to grow sales and market share.
  • Achieve key sales metrics and support your colleagues in execution and customer management.
  • Adopt a category-based selling approach to develop outlets for mutual benefit.
  • Use data and evidence to drive best practices across your territory and team.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable strategies to overcome challenges and win stores.

About You

  • You are passionate, driven, and target-oriented, capable of bringing brands to life.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive on building relationships, and drive new business.
  • You are eager to succeed in convenience retail, advocating for our brands and focusing on consumers.
  • Previous experience in Direct Sales, Convenience, or FMCG is preferred.
  • You possess strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are well-organized, self-motivated, and proficient in IT and social media.
  • You are resilient, energetic, and capable of working at pace.
  • You participate proactively as part of a team.
  • You hold a full valid manual driving licence, are eligible to work in the UK, and live within a 60-minute commute of the role location.
