About the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you'll deliver quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service directly to customers' doors. You'll embody our ethos — passionate Partners serving food lovers. When not on deliveries, you'll support the shop team with tasks like stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to the shop's efficient operation in a friendly environment. You must be 18 or older to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Check your delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are ready for efficient delivery.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintaining road compliance and safety standards.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the shop team with general tasks as needed.

Essential skills/experience

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Ability to handle physical tasks like lifting crates and moving cages.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• IT literate.

Desirable skills/experience

• Previous driving experience, especially with chilled vehicles, is a plus.
