Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to bring our quality produce and Partner-led service directly to customers’ doors. You’ll also support the shop team with daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting crates. You’ll operate in a customer-focused role on the road and in-store, with flexible working patterns where possible.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages).
• Comfortable working independently with self motivated and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be delivered to customers.
• Ensure all vehicle safety checks are complete and maintain road compliance.
• Be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand with great customer service as priority.
• Help customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
