Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Cardiff to bring Waitrose quality to customers' doors with friendly, Partner-led service.

You'll load deliveries, check vans, and support the shop team with routine tasks when not on the road. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, good customer service, and the ability to handle physical tasks safely in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (lifting crates, moving cages).
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Checking your delivery routes for the day.
• Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers.
• Ensuring all of the appropriate vehicle safety checks are complete on your van, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety.
• Being an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road with great customer service as your number one priority.
• Helping customers with their shopping and building a rapport with them based on trust and service.
• Supporting the wider shop team when required with general shopkeeping tasks.
