Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to bring quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service to customers at their doors. You’ll also support the shop team with daily tasks and stock replenishment, while maintaining vehicle safety checks and a strong customer-focused mindset.

This role requires you to be 18 years or older, hold a full UK driving licence with limited points, and thrive in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management for daily delivery routes.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting crates and moving cages.
• Comfortable working independently and being self-motivated.
• Basic IT literacy to support ordering and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and check daily delivery routes.
• Load and prepare the van, ensure orders are complete for delivery.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and comply with road safety regulations and health & safety.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with friendly customer service on the road.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
• Support shop colleagues with general duties as needed.
