Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver Waitrose produce to customers’ doors and support the in-store team with daily tasks.

Role requires a full UK B-category manual driving licence (max 6 points), strong customer service, and the ability to manage time and physical tasks. Part-time, 25 hours weekly across 7 days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Able to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Able to work independently, be self-motivated and adaptable.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Plan and check daily delivery routes.
• Load and prepare van; deliver orders directly to customers.
• Carry out basic vehicle safety checks and stay road compliant.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport through service.
• Support shop team with general tasks as required.
