Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring shopping to customers’ homes. The role is hands-on and varied, with shifts across evenings and weekends and a guaranteed minimum weekly hours.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with additional payments possible in some locations. The role emphasizes friendly, reliable service and strong customer care on the doorstep.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Ability to deliver friendly, reliable service at customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete all checks to ensure it's roadworthy and ready to deliver great service.
• Talk customers through any order changes, substitutions, or short-dated items in a friendly, reassuring way, and offer refunds where needed to keep the experience smooth and positive.
• Handle products with care, treating every order as if it were your own to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer's time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and leaving customers feeling valued.
