Job summary

Jewson Bristol, part of STARK Group, is seeking a customer delivery driver to join our team. You will safely deliver building materials to customers, load and unload freight, and operate the crane when needed, providing a professional and friendly service.

You will cover a designated area and work across a cluster of branches, including Bath, Bristol, Clevedon, Frome, Radstock, Stroud, Weston‑super‑Mare and Yate. Training and development are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license required
• CPC card and Digi Tachograph card essential
• Multidrop experience is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers in a professional manner
• Load and unload goods and operate the crane where required
• Cover absence within a designated area and support branch teams
• Travel to and service a cluster of Jewson Bristol branches (Bath, Bristol, Clevedon, Frome, Radstock, Stroud, Weston‑Super‑Mare, Yate)

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.

You will be assigned to our Jewson Bristol branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are: Bath, Bristol, Clevedon, Frome, Radstock, Stroud, Weston Super Mare and Yate.

You will be paid travel and subsistence.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
