Job summary

Jewson, part of the STARK Group, is seeking a motivated HGV Class 2 driver to join the Hammersmith area operations. You will deliver building materials, operate a vehicle-mounted crane, and provide excellent customer service across a cluster of branches in Acton, Lambeth, Ruislip and Wembley.

You will cover absence within the area, be paid travel and subsistence, and benefit from a fully funded induction, CPC training, and ongoing development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card are required.
• HIAB training provided or willingness to obtain training.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers across designated area.
• Load and unload goods and operate the crane as needed.
• Assist and support team members during deliveries and drops.
• Cover absence within a cluster of branches in the designated area (Acton, Lambeth, Ruislip & Wembley).
• Travel and subsistence are paid.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area. You will be assigned to our Jewson Hammersmith branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Acton, Lambeth, Ruislip & Wembley

You will be paid travel and subsistence.

What are we looking for?

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
