Job summary

Jewson Sevenoaks, part of STARK Group, is recruiting a HGV Class 2 delivery driver to join our friendly team. The role involves daily deliveries of building materials to customer sites, loading and unloading, and operating a vehicle-mounted crane when required.

We offer a funded induction, ALLMI crane licence, 34 days holiday, pension, life assurance, staff discounts, and ongoing training. If you hold the necessary licences, CPC and Digi Tachograph, apply to start a varied career.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not a necessity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load and unload, operate the crane and support team members as needed.
• Represent STARK/Jewson as the face of the company.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card

Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
