Job summary

STARK Group's Jewson Taunton is actively recruiting an Area HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver building materials to customers with a friendly, professional approach. You will load/unload, operate the crane, and support colleagues while covering a cluster of branches from Taunton, including Bridgwater, Chard, Tiverton and Minehead.

We offer HIAB training, ALLMI accredited crane licence, a funded induction at our training academy, 34 days holiday with buy-up options, pension, life assurance, staff

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Multidrop experience is handy, not a necessity.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers as a face of the company.
• Load and unload, operate the crane, and support team members as needed.
• Cover absence within a designated area from Taunton and surrounding branches.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.

You will be assigned to our Taunton branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Bridgwater, Chard, Tiverton and Minehead.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
