Job summary

Primark is seeking an experienced Customer Data Business Analyst to join the Customer Engagement Initiative within a major Digital Transformation Programme in Reading. This hands-on role focuses on building the customer data foundations that will enable loyalty, promotions, personalization, and enhanced engagement.

You will work with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Data Architects and Data Engineers to define data requirements and translate business objectives into scalable data products,

Qualifications

• Proven Data Business Analyst experience with customer data domains.
• Experience with CDP, MDM, and cloud data platforms.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for strategic customer data products.
• Define data requirements to support loyalty, marketing, and engagement initiatives.
• Document requirements and facilitate workshops for data models.
• Collaborate with product and engineering on data solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Analyse customer data to identify gaps and opportunities for business outcomes.
• Support design of reusable customer data assets across the organisation.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
