Job summary

The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Customer Advisor / Trade Counter Assistant to join a Poole-based heating spares merchant. The role is full-time and permanent, with hours Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm and alternating winter Saturdays, in-person at the Poole branch.

You will handle telephone enquiries, respond to emails, serve customers at the counter, book goods in/out using Sage, process orders and quotations, assist with stock control, and maintain a tidy branch while delivering excellent

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability.
• Good IT skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Alternating Winter Saturdays: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Advisor / Trade Counter Assistant
