Job summary

Henderson Group operates SPAR Rosevale in Newtownards and is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor. You will work 8–12 hours per week, 6:00am–midnight with some flexibility, handling checkout transactions and stock replenishment to ensure a smooth customer experience.

No prior retail experience is required as training is provided, and you will join a team that values ambition, customer-first service, teamwork and integrity, plus opportunities to support community activities.

• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions.
• Stock replenishment and rotation to ensure availability.

• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Other duties as required for the role.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success

• Don’t worry if you have no previous retail experience, we’ll provide you with all the right training.
