Job summary

Henderson Group, a leading NI foodservice provider, is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor in Newtownards. You will operate checkouts, replenish and merchandise stock, and maintain accurate pricing while delivering excellent customer service.

Evening and weekend availability is expected; hours range 8–12 per week with flexibility. Training is provided, and benefits include employee assistance and staff discounts across SPAR/EUROSPAR Henderson Group stores.

Qualifications

• Stock replenishment and rotation to keep shelves tidy.
• Merchandise stock to maximise sales.
• Ensure correct prices are displayed with Shelf Edge Labels.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover Post Office duties when required.
• Other duties as required for the role.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
