Job summary

Henderson Group, Northern Ireland’s leading foodservice provider, is seeking a Customer Advisor for a part-time role (12 hours/week). You’ll assist customers, operate checkouts, and help stock and displays within store hours across Mon-Sun. Availability for after-school/evening slots Mon-Fri 3:00pm–11:00pm and weekends is expected.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand customers' needs and advise on products and services.
• Operate checkouts accurately for fast, friendly transactions.
• Replenish stock daily and rotate using the company process.
• Merchandise stock to maximise sales and ensure correct shelf labeling.
• Maintain high levels of customer service in-store at all times.
• Cover the Post Office and deli department when required.
• Perform other duties as needed for the role.

Customer Advisor

Pay rates ranging from £11.95 to £13.30 per hour depending on your age & benefits.

Part-time position at 12 hours per week, working within the store opening hours, Monday to Sunday, 6:00am to 11:00pm, with a degree of flexibility required. Please note, availability Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and Saturday & Sunday 6:00am to 11:00pm will be expected.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office and within the deli department when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
