Job summary

Henderson Group currently seeks a Customer Advisor to join the team in Newtownabbey. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week with shifts from 4pm to Midnight Monday–Friday and 6am to Midnight on weekends.

Pay ranges from £11.95 to £13.30 per hour depending on age, with great benefits and career development opportunities. You will support in-store operations, assist customers, and ensure accurate checkout processing while maintaining service standards and stock presentation.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers and advise on products and services.
• Operate checkouts accurately and process transactions promptly.
• Replenish stock daily across departments and follow stock rotation.
• Merchandise stock and ensure correct shelf labeling and pricing.
• Maintain high levels of customer service in-store at all times.
• Occasionally cover the Post Office as needed.
• Perform any other duties as required.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Working within a range of departments including Fresh and Produce, ensuring that stock is replenished on a daily basis while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Working Hours
