Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Customer Advisor at SPAR Jordanstown, Newtownabbey. The role involves managing checkouts, stock replenishment, merchandising, and delivering excellent customer service within store hours. The position may include Post Office duties and requires flexibility including weekends and evenings.

No retail experience is required as full training is provided, and a positive attitude is valued to smile with customers and support store success.

• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times in-store.
• May cover the Post Office as required.
• Perform other duties as required for the role.

Part-time positions available at 15 hours per week. Availability to cover shifts within the opening hours of the store, 7:00am – 11:00pm, with a degree of flexibility required including weekends and evenings.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.


• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.


• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.


• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.


• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.


• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.


• Any other duties as required for the role.

Part-time positions available at 15 hours per week. Availability to cover shifts within the opening hours of the store, 7:00am – 11:00pm. Please note that this role will involve working nights and weekends.
