Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor to support our store operations in Northern Ireland. The role involves running checkouts, replenishing and merchandising stock, and delivering strong customer service from 6:00am to midnight while covering evenings and weekends.

Applicants should be flexible to work up to midnight; training is provided and a positive attitude is valued to ensure customers have a great experience. Store locations include Hightown Avenue Mallusk, Newtownabbey.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided; no prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Replenish stock daily while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Merchandise stock to optimise sales and ensure correct pricing with shelf edge labels.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times in the store.
• May cover the Post Office duties as required for this role.
• Other duties as required by the role.

Up to £13.30 per hour depending on your age & benefits. Part-time permanent position available at 8 hours per week. Availability to cover evening and weekend shifts within the hours of 6:00am - midnight, with a degree of flexibility required. Please note, flexibility to work until midnight will be required for this role.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
