Job description

Manpower is currently seeking an interim Customer Account Executive to work with our global FMCG client, Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple. This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. It is a full-time, temporary role lasting 12 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

The role offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to business needs.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Lead new revenue streams in Home Care and Personal Care businesses.
  2. Manage relationships and act as the day-to-day interface with key distributors.
  3. Collaborate to grow the business through volume forecasting, initiating orders, and modeling promotions, supporting HC & PC initiatives with other channel customers such as TikTok Shop, Amazon Marketplace, and Just My Look.
  4. Build and develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Work with the Amazon team to optimize the 1P/2P/3P strategy for Amazon marketplace growth.
  6. Coordinate with eCommerce Digital Hubs to activate online events, launch NPD, and drive core activations.
  7. Deliver key category initiatives like cost price changes, brand activation, and new product launches.
  8. Manage end-to-end P&L to ensure profitable growth.
  9. Drive sales growth, customer profitability, and market share expansion.
  10. Align BMI spend with business units to meet targets across Search and Display.
  11. Forecast volume and spend monthly to accelerate growth and mitigate risks.
  12. Inspire and inform the broader business teams on channel opportunities and insights.
  13. Enhance capability and knowledge within the wider eCommerce team and the organization.
Key Requirements
  1. Experience in high-performance sales or account management, preferably in Amazon or eCommerce.
  2. Strong financial skills with P&L ownership and business modeling ability.
  3. Effective leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
  4. Ability to build and maintain strong external and internal relationships.
  5. High analytical skills with the ability to share insights and foster team learning.
