Account Executive (Remote)

The company is a leading FinTech Software Company experiencing significant growth and a reputation for being a market leader. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their well-established sales team to manage a portfolio of their core customer base. As a disruptor in the industry, they are growing rapidly and offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.

They seek a self-motivated, experienced, and confident Account Manager with the proven ability to manage your own territory and achieve revenue targets. You will sell their award-winning software using a professional, consultative approach, maximizing opportunities for long-term growth.

Requirements include 18 months of SaaS sales experience and managing a portfolio of existing relationships with a focus on revenue and retention targets. Experience within a FinTech company is preferred. You will strategically manage your portfolio to retain, cross-sell, and upsell into the customer base.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving monthly targets through systematic territory management and identifying growth opportunities
  • Engaging customers quarterly and conducting regular account reviews
  • Understanding key customer objectives and success metrics
  • Upselling and cross-selling additional software and solutions
  • Building lasting relationships with customers through proactive interactions
  • Scheduling and conducting annual account reviews
  • Running product demonstrations both 1-on-1 and in group/webinar settings
  • Providing live reports on customer activity and weekly forecast tracking
  • Proactively contacting customers with pending renewals
  • Attending industry events and staffing the company exhibition stand

Experience required:

  • 18+ months of B2B sales experience, ideally within FinTech sectors such as accountancy software, tax solutions, payroll, compliance, or forecasting, but other software industries are also considered
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Ability to develop sales plans within a territory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in demonstrations and presentations
  • Personal responsibility and achievement-oriented mindset
