A local academy school in England is seeking a passionate candidate for a role in the Drama and DT department. The position involves programming lighting and sound for school performances, administering theatre trips, and coordinating set construction. Previous experience in lighting and sound is advantageous. The role requires evenings and weekends leading up to productions. We are seeking a passionate candidate to join our Drama and DT department to assist in the classroom and with school performances by programming all of the lighting and sound, as well as administering theatre trips and coordinating and leading the building and painting of sets and props. This role will include working evenings and weekends in the lead up to school productions.
Full training on both our lighting system (ETC) and sound system (Sound Cloud) will be provided, although previous experience would be highly advantageous.
Actual salary: Grade 5 £17,807.04 - £18,377.
30 hours per week; Term Time + 5 INSET Days (39 weeks).
Permanent Contract.
