Job summary

First Technical Recruitment is seeking a CS&A Engineer to deliver civil, structural, and architectural engineering solutions on contract. You will lead design activities, produce technical documentation, and guide junior engineers across Warrington or Westlakes projects.

The role requires degree-qualified engineers with experience in reinforced concrete, steelwork, and allied design software, and a strong grasp of British Standards and CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading civil/structural design projects with control over delivery, quality and budget.
• Proven ability to work with clients and stakeholders and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical quality of your own work and of engineers and designers under you.
• Support project planning, delivery and financial performance including resources and programme.
• Communicate with clients and multidisciplinary design teams with clear design justification.
• Mentor and develop junior designers and engineers.
• Develop and deliver design documents and engineering solutions per standards and procedures.
• Chair and facilitate technical and progress meetings; review design work.
